I'm thrilled to announce that I placed second in the CINE Film Scoring Competition for Emerging Composers. Over 220 composers submitted entries in January, after which, the selection committee narrowed it down to five finalists which were then evaluated by special guest judges Daniel Carlin, Chair of Film Scoring at USC’s Thornton School of Music, George S. Clinton, who chairs The Berklee College of Music’s Film Scoring Department, and Mychael Danna, composer for Life of Pi (Academy Award®, 2012), Moneyball and Little Miss Sunshine.
