GDC '16 Talk: "Music To Their Ears"

Apr 23, 2016

Last month I was fortunate to join David Bisceglia (CEO, The Tap Lab) on stage at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco as we delivered our talk "Music To Their Ears: Best Practices for Developer Relations".

I'm very proud to say that our talk was ranked 2nd by attendees out of the 28 fantastic audio talks at the conference this year, and 5th out of all 384 talks and presentations that took place during the week-long conference. Here's a taster of what people had to say...

Easily one of my favorite sessions at GDC. Very transparent and specific about what works for them as a team.

What an awesome team, and a great idea for a talk! They provided precious insight into their successful relationship that will absolutely influence how I work with my clients going forward

This talk was extremely engaging, charming and practical. Richard and Dave outlined a lot of practices for developer and audio director relations that had honestly not occurred to me that I should be doing, especially in the subjects of being very safe about contracts and of producing well thought-out and detailed bids for jobs and quotes for services.
